What We Do
Small Batch Herbal Creations
We craft handmade, small batch herbal products from plants we grow ourselves or from foraged plants around us. Organic ingredients are used whenever possible, and each item is handled with care during the whole process.
Medicinal Herb Farm
Crescent Moon Medicinal Herb Farm is in its first year of production! We grow our favorite and most used plants to be the stars in our herbal creations and for making up medicinal protocols for our clients. We also harvest sap from maple and birch trees for syrup. We ensure to grow and harvest with care, with reciprocity in the forefront of all that we do.
Herbal Wellness Consultations
Our one-on-one consultations are a collaborative and personalized experience to help you meet your health goals.

This birch syrup was made from the sap of sweet birch (Betula lenta) trees on our land where we boiled the sap down to caramelize and concentrate the sugars. We filtered the sap at every stage so the syrup is clear without sediment.
The richness of birch’s dark color is due to the sugars being primarily fructose. Birch syrup contains minerals such as manganese, iron and zinc.
Said to have a fruity, tart (think raspberries or tart cherries) and balsamic-like taste, it’s best as finishing glaze due fructose having a tendency to burn easily. Toss with or drizzle onto fruit, dairy (cheese!), roasted vegetables, or meats. Delicious as an ice cream topper.
Ingredients: 100% pure birch sap

Our Services

Each consultation is a collaborative and personalized experience, designed to meet your unique health goals. During your time with the herbalist, a lot of questions will be asked about your health history, personal experiences, and any challenges you’re facing. The herbalist’s process involves getting to know you as a whole person, so you can both build a supportive plan tailored to your life’s rhythm and current needs.
Prior to the first consultation please contact us for a free 10-min phone consultation to make sure the herbalist is the right person to assist you on your healing journey.
-
The consultation is an in-depth session where we’ll discuss your health history, lifestyle, emotional well-being, and specific areas you’d like support. This session typically lasts about 1.5-2 hours and allows a comprehensive view of your overall wellness. You’ll also be introduced to the role of specific herbs and/or practices that may help you meet your goals.
In-person consultations are preferred, however online sessions can be scheduled using Zoom. The location of the in-person consultations will be sent once an agreement and payment is finalized, but typically takes place in Middletown, NY and surrounding areas.
-
Following the initial consultation, an herbal protocol will be created for you that may consist of herbal, nutritional, and practice recommendations. Protocols are made to be realistic and achievable, making it easy to incorporate into your daily routine.
Herb suggestions can include personalized tincture formulas and/or tea blends. These formulas can be purchased through The Verdant Path, recommended herb shops, or by another trusted herbalist that makes custom medicinal formulas.
-
Herbal healing is a process that unfolds over time. In follow-up sessions, we’ll review your progress, discuss any new developments, and adjust your plan as needed.
These sessions can also include in-depth guidance on topics such as herbal medicine making.
Follow-ups can last about 30 min or longer, depending on need.

A sliding scale pricing is used for consultations.*
Standard price: The actual cost of the consultation. If you choose a price below this tier you are receiving a discount.

Supported price: For those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. Paying for this consultation may qualify as a sacrifice but it would not create hardship.
